Introduction
A side-event proposal does not become a public session at the moment it is submitted. Several operational steps protect the quality and accuracy of the public programme.
Submission and review
Eligible organisations complete the required fields and documents. ISCA assigns review responsibilities and evaluates proposals according to the configured criteria. Clarification may be requested before a final decision.
Decision and scheduling
Authorised ISCA staff record the decision. Approved or conditionally approved proposals are scheduled separately. The scheduling system checks whether rooms, dates, speakers and capacity are compatible with the wider programme.
Publication and access
After scheduling, ISCA publishes the information permitted by the edition’s publication rules. Public events can appear in programme listings. Private and unlisted events must not be exposed to the public. Invitation-only listings may be visible or unlisted according to configuration.
Keeping details accurate
When ISCA changes a published time or room, affected organisers, speakers and registered attendees are notified through the system, subject to configured communication rules.
